New Year New Art

February 2023

From the vantage point of the main gallery, 2023 is looking much brighter. The gallery space is filled with bright greens and oranges, with some artwork taking you back to the psychedelic 60s. In fact, in one painting the Mississippi River has been tie-dyed! As you stroll through the exhibit, you will find an eclectic assortment of original pieces including pottery, fused glass, wood carving, and mixed media. Come see what new creations the new year has inspired. Since both exhibits will run only through the end of February, make plans to visit soon.

Building Bridges

October 7 - December 30, 2022

To us at the Center, “building bridges” can mean many things. We experience so many bridges being built daily here when we share regional art, music and theater with the community and have engaging conversations about the Center’s offerings with our happy patrons. Thank you for building bridges with us!

And on that note, we are excited to host our third exhibit, Building Bridges, in our new space! The Building Bridges Opening Night Reception will be on Friday, October 7, from 5:00 -7:00 pm, and the exhibit will run through December 30, 2022. We hope to see you there!

Invitation to Wonder

April 2022

All around us are invitations to wonder. A walrus on a rocky cliff, the amazing night sky, the miracle of a fleeting mushroom or flower, a newborn in the arms of her grandfather, a yellow giraffe. From the whimsical, to the beautiful, to the ordinary, a sense of wonder enhances our lives.Thirty-three artists from our Tri-State area are sharing their talents and wonder. The artists are varied in their mediums. Painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, fiber art, or the beautifully chosen words of poetry and prose have all been represented here.

The artists are varied in their mediums. Painting, photography, fabric, clay, or the beautifully chosen words of poetry have all been represented here.
